Sarah & Bobby’s Wedding at St Mary’s Church, Chipping Norton

I met Sarah and Bobby through Sarah’s mum Mandy who I play netball with.  It seemed to be fate that I got to be their wedding photographer.  I had originally been booked for a friends wedding so was unavailable when I heard Mandy talking about her daughters up coming wedding.  The photographer who they had originally found and wanted to book ended up becoming booked by another couple…  my friends then changed the date of their wedding making me available, so I let them know I was now free and was so glad when they asked me to do their photography.

They were married in July at St Mary’s Church in Chipping Norton and then had their wedding reception at Hyde Barn, Fosse Manor in Stow On The Wold.  Sarah got ready with all of her bridesmaids at her mothers house and then had a very short and idilic walk to the church.  The looming rain held off until Sarah literally arrived at the church, it couldn’t have been timed better.  The ceremony was beautiful, and the vicar a particularly good one.  After lots of congratulations, confetti and a few family group photos at the church, Sarah’s dad drove them onto Hyde Barn.  There were plenty of garden games, canapés, bubbly and ice cream for everyone to enjoy in the sun.  Bobby is very creative and had clear vision for the day, it was so touching to see Sarah walk into the room where they would have their breakfast.  She was clearly blown away, it looked so perfect.  After their meal, the speeches were a mixture of hilarious and so emotional, I think most of the guests had tears in their eyes at at least one point! I stayed until just after the sun set so we could get some last photos and they were so worth it, the cows even decided to join us, making them quite perfect.

Sarah looked absolutely stunning along with her bridesmaids, and Bobby and his groomsmen looked particularly dapper with their bow ties and waist coats.  Their eye for detail was pretty incredible, which meant I had so much beautiful detail to photograph… which I LOVE.  I hope you enjoy looking through some of my select favourites, there were so many that I loved, it was hard to cut it down to this hundred!
