I met Jen and Phil at a wedding fair that I was exhibiting at at the beginning of this year. They had already found a photographer who they had wanted to do their wedding photography but liked my work so wanted to meet up to talk about it more. On meeting we instantly got on and everything they were looking for in their photography was right up my street. They had chosen a beautiful local cotswold venue and one that I have work at on numerous occasions, The Bay Tree in Burford. They wanted to pop out for some location photographs in some nearby fields on the day…. my specialty! They also loved the idea of having an engagement shoot to get them used to having their photos taken and for us to get to know each other a little better before the big day. I was so happy to hear later that they wanted to book me as their wedding photographer.
I scouted out the local Burford area for small walks with views, it needed to be something that wasnt too far from the Hotel as they will be limited for time on the big day. I found some local dog walkers who pointed me in the direction of these lovely fields overlooking Burford. When we met, for the engagement shoot both Jen and Phil were completely up for all of my suggestions and clearly a couple in love which made it a complete pleasure. The weather was also perfect, overcast but bright. By the end of the shoot, they were both complete naturals having their pictures taken, no slightly awkward poses or unsure feelings, they just felt really excited about having their pictures taken on their wedding day, now knowing what to expect.
I hope you enjoy looking through their photos x
